It is the most familiar palette in the series, so we kept the design plain on purpose — three colors, no flourish — and put the effort into a buckle and edge stitch that survive a decade of fetch.
The USA palette, up close
On the strap itself, the cobalt carries the design — close to half the face of the webbing is that deep navy, with the crimson entering as one bound stripe and the white holding a clean line between them. Because the colors are woven into the nylon rather than printed on it, the stripe cannot peel or crack; it can only soften, and cobalt this dark softens slowly. After a year of sun the crimson mellows about a half-shade, the way good canvas does, while the white keeps its edge because every pass of stitching locks the yarn in place.
